Mark Haysom

Senior Associate and Practice Advisor

Mark is a recognised architecture and urban design leader and returns to Archipelago in 2022 as a Senior Associate and Practice Advisor.

He possesses extensive experience in the planning, design and delivery of numerous infrastructure projects­, through all scale, from humble bus stops to multi-billion dollar works. Mark combines this expertise with over thirty five years of general experience in architectural practice.

Mark takes a holistic approach to complex problems and understands the need to listen to different points of view and balance competing needs. Mark has demonstrable experience writing proposals, bids, reports, specifications and other written material and has well-developed and rounded interpersonal skills. He has experience negotiating contracts, developing consensus on design ideas and concepts and facilitating client and stakeholder discussions and workshops.

Mark’s knowledge and experience spans from broad brush planning concerns to detailed building design considerations and construction phase services.
