Concept design of 169 dwellings over three five storey buildings
Excellence in residential design and world-class sustainable design leadership.
“Density and Diversity done well” - Northshore Hamilton facilitates low-impact living within a well-connected and urban Vertical Village, achieving minimum sustainability ratings, employing key affordable-by-design principles, and delivering a place-based & human-centred development
Encompassing 169 dwellings over three five storey buildings, the residential offering is a mix of social and affordable housing, equally split and equally distributed throughout the project. Reduced on-site car parking allows all spaces to be delivered in one semi-basement that is naturally ventilated and provides grade-separation between dwellings and the street.
Central to the PDA vision is for Northsore to be a ‘Place of Sustainable Design’, celebrating the precinct’s Indigenous, industrial and maritime history as it works towards a cleaner, greener and smarter future. Northshore Hamilton commits to engging with and embodying the Sustainability Priorities as set out by the Green Building Council of Australia Green Star Buildings tool. In addition, Archipelago recognises the significance of the Cross Claim approach and the consideration of buildings located within the boundaries of Green Star Communities.
